Execution and Management
BISAP adopts decentralized participatory management system in programme implementation. The General Body, the supreme authority of the organization consists of 29 members. A 7-member Executive Committee is elected biennially out of General Body for policymaking and programme execution. All the policies of Executive Committee are implemented by the modest programme staff headed by the Chief Executive who is responsible for overall programme implementation and management. The Chief Executive is the Ex-officio member-secretary of the Executive Committee. In addition, there is a 5 member Advisory Committee consisting of development experts who used to advise the Executive Committee from time to time to undertake appropriate policies and guidelines for significant program achievement.

Operation Area of BISAP: The activities of BISAP are being implemented in 298 villages, 89 unions and 37 Upazilla/thana namely, Bandarban, Khagrachari, Rangamati, Chandpur, Dinajpur, Nilphamari, Rangpur, Laximpur, Commilla, Hathazari, Boalkhali, Patiya, Sitakunda, jessore, Shatkhira, Karnafully, Anowara, Lohagara, Satkania, Chandonaish, Cox’s Bazar and Chittagong Metropolitan area.
Information about beneficiaries: The number of beneficiaries of BISAP stands, approximately at 26000 of which 22000 are Female and 4000 are Male.
Staff strength of BISAP: At present, total full-time staff, strength of BISAP stands 109, where 41 are female and the rest 68 are male. Apart from it, 10 volunteers are rendering their services in programme implementation.

- BISAP has acquired good reputation and well acceptance to Govt. Sectors, LGED, NGOs, DPHE, Chittagong City Corporation, Ministry of Health Family Planning, Ministry of Education , Ministry of Social Well Fare Cooperative, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Disaster Management.
Nature of Beneficiaries: Empowering distressed and powerless women and children of lower income group viz, landless, day labourer, marginal farmers, folk fisher, tribal, disable, destitute and economically poor are the direct beneficiaries, whereas the family members of the organized people are the indirect beneficiaries.
Financial Control and Audit: For transparency of Accounts, BISAP deposits its Programme Grants in the Bank Account, which is operated by joint signatory. Standard Accounting and Book Keeping system are followed at the time of maintaining the accounts. Vouchers and records are maintained properly for verification and audit. Chartered Accountants Firm audits the Books and Accounts annually for improving the financial control and management system.
